Privacy Policy

BluntBuys (bluntbuys.com) is published by Soryalie in Québec, Canada. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the Privacy Officer of Soryalie, reachable at contact@bluntbuys.com.

• If you sign up for emails: your email address, the page you signed up on, and the dates you signed up and confirmed.
• For site security: your network (IP) address and browser type are used briefly to limit abuse. If requests from one address exceed our limit, we may keep one alert record with that address, the page requested and the browser type.
• Page views and clicks to other sites are counted without identifying you.

We set no cookies of our own. Our hosting provider sets a short-lived security cookie (about 30 minutes) to block bots. Your browser keeps your text-size and motion preferences, plus a per-tab marker that stops a page view being counted twice. We use nothing for advertising.

• To send your confirmation email and, only after you confirm, an email when new comparisons are published.
• To protect the site from abuse.
• To see which pages are read.

• Our hosting and database provider, Lovable, with Cloudflare in front of the site.
• The email service we send through.
• Google Fonts: when a page loads, your network address is visible to Google so the fonts can be delivered.

We do not sell personal information. When you click an affiliate link you leave our site, and the shop's own privacy policy applies.

With these providers, which may store or process data outside Québec and outside Canada, including in the United States.

• Sign-up records: until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete them.
• Security counters and alert records: up to 12 months.
• Unsubscribing from an email stops our emails to you. To have your sign-up record deleted as well, email us.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing contact@bluntbuys.com. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link. You may also complain to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

This site is not directed at children.

When we change this policy we update the effective date above.
